Something that has been annoying me for a while is the randomness of the connectivity of my Kensington Wireless Expert Trackball mouse. As a music professional, I spend all day (and sometimes all night) working on projects. This sometimes results in strain on the hand. So… trackball helps. On the Mac M1, it works just fine.
The intermittent connectivity on my PC however was due to not the batteries and other suggested issues online, but specifically, I realised it was due to Windows updates and the resetting of the power management option in the device manager!
Make sure all entries for your mouse and the Bluetooth interfaces on your PC have the power management feature switched off. As soon as I did this it reconnected perfectly, after re-pairing the device! 😀
A similar issue causes the Push 2 for Ableton to disconnect! I hope this helps some of you out there!
